3:10 to Yuma (2007)

I leaned over and shouted "Frickin' great!" the moment this ended. NO watch checks.

Moral ambiguity? Check. Outrageously good gunfights? Check. Even better acting? Check. Plus. Christian Bale learned how to close his mouth! I hope he kept that lesson in mind in time for Dark Knight.

dude. i love the balester. my sister and her friend were ripping on him... but they both have bachelors in drama and i think "the method" isn't cool now.

i say fuck that, how many actors would have done that awesome "I'm disguising my voice by putting my hand over my mouth and sounding all raspy" thing in batman, you know, in the scene where he breaks into Gordon's office? only bale. he takes it all the way.

i bet a less method-y actor wouldn't actually have killed all those other actors like he did in American Psycho, either.

that's some daring usage of the method for sure. i bet he wanted to create a sense of distance between him and his surroundings, so he used the power of smell.

Firstly, when Chris writes "balester" for a moment I was thinking of a hand railing or "baluster." This caused me several moments of confusion. I later figured it out. Kudos to you Chris.
    As for the movie:
I was very entertained. M'lady really wants to dislike Russell Crowe as person, but he does some fine actoring.
However my favorite part of the movie was part-time Bozeman local, Peter Fonda. Our curiosity was stretch by whether or not the make-up artist had to make him look older or younger as Byron McElroy.
Also kudos to Bozeman local, Mark Vargo. Some fine second unit footage.
